Western Railway to demolish part of FOB in Kandivali to construct skywalk, check details

The existing staircase of south end FOB will be dismantled and it will remain closed from 1st October, the Western Railway said

Western Railway on Monday said that it has planned to demolish part of Foot over Bridge (FOB) at Kandivali station in Mumbai in order to construct a skywalk at platform number 4.

In a statement, the Western Railway said that in connection with the station improvement work of Kandivali station under MUTP-IIIA being carried out by Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation (MRVC), it is proposed to construct a skywalk on platform no 4.
