NIA conducts raids linked to PFI: Teacher and lawyer says Wednesday’s raid was his sixth since his 2015 acquittal in 7/11 train blasts case

Abdul Wahid Shaikh, teacher, lawyer and prisoners’ rights activist
My name is Shaikh and I am not a terrorist,” Abdul Wahid Shaikh told mid-day after the National Investigation Agency (NIA) unexpectedly visited his Parksite home early on Wednesday morning. The school teacher said this was the sixth raid conducted at his house ever since he was acquitted in the 7/11 serial train bomb blasts in 2015.
Shaikh said that anti-terror agencies have been harassing him and his family over suspicion of links with Pakistan and terrorist outfits. He added that his neighbours, however, supported him and didn't allow the NIA team, which was from Lucknow, to take him into custody without showing any evidence.
