A 25-year-old woman's character was questioned by the Mahim police when she went to register a complaint against a food delivery boy who barged into her flat in early hours of Sunday and fled with a Rs 100 note. The police have registered a non-cognizable offence instead of an FIR because of a 12-hour delay in approaching the police.

The woman was with a friend in her flat on Sunday when they ordered food at 3 am. The woman who hailed from Kolkata has lived in Mahim for three years. She told The Times of India, “I placed the order on Swiggy and got contact details of the delivery executive named Shanu Wadar. I called Wadar and asked him if he would get some cigarettes along with the food. He agreed and upon delivery, I paid him another Rs 150 for the favour. But he began to insist I pay him more and then barged into my house.
