The decomposed carcass of a tiger was found near a lake in Pombhurna forest range in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra on Saturday, officials said. A team of forest guards found the tiger dead during regular patrolling. All body parts of the tiger were found intact and the forest department ruled out the possibility of poaching or smuggling.
