Bangur Nagar police arrested a 29-year-old Malad resident allegedly linked to seven theft and burglary cases in Goregaon West. CCTV footage from his seventh alleged offence helped investigators trace him, while mobile location data allegedly linked him to six earlier crimes

According to police, the accused had been evading arrest since around 2000. Investigators had limited information about his whereabouts as he allegedly changed his name and addresses repeatedly to avoid being traced
