The officials carried out an inspection between Ovaripada Metro Station and Dahisar Metro Station near the Western Express Highway.
Teams on the ground at metro tracks were carrying out safety checks to make sure that the operations are carried out fluently.
While the technical staff was on the tracks, after a halted metro was cleared from the tracks near Ovaripada Metro Station.
Officials carefully examine the metro line at Dahisar (East) after operations were briefly disrupted without any prior notice.
With the technical work underway at the Western Express Highway stretch, the Yellow Line 2A continued to operate between Andheri West and Dahisar East, with single-line operations between Ovaripada and Aarey, as per the official statement.
