Aaditya Thackeray, while talking to the shopkeepers, promised various facilities such as public washrooms, proper drinking water and various other facilities. "During the tenure of the Maha Vikas Aghadi government, a comprehensive plan was devised to beautify both the front and rear premises of the flower market."

Slamming the current government, the Worli MLA also highlighted that the current administration has failed to take any concrete steps to develop the flower market

Along with Aaditya, MLA Mahesh Sawant, former mayor and corporator Shraddha Jadhav, and corporator Sainath Durge were also present

Aaditya also stressed improving the conditions at the city’s iconic Phool Mandai even as concerns grow over the lack of progress on a proposed beautification project for the market
