Considering that the safety of people around the coasts remains the top priority, authorities have restricted beaches and other tourist sites near the coast, as a high-tide warning for the Konkan coastline from 5.30 pm on Monday until 8.30 pm on Wednesday.
The sea beach was closed to the public today due to the high tide at Madh land in Malad West today.
Mumbai Police tied ropes on the promenade of the Bandstand to prevent tourists from going to the beach, while the high tide in the sea at Bandra (West) in Mumbai looked intense on Wednesday.
Mumbai Police and other authorities are working hard amid the tough conditions to make sure that people do not get close to high tides.
People have been advised to enjoy the beaches and coastal sites within the restriction to make sure that they remain safe amid the high tide alerts.
