Engineers and workers were seen carrying out the complex erection work using heavy lifting equipment at the project site

Officials associated with the project said that the installation of the pylon box marks a major milestone in the flyover's construction

The structure will serve as the foundation for the bridge's pylon, from which steel cables will be connected to support the roadway

The cable-stayed design has been chosen to improve the flyover's strength, stability and appearance while allowing for longer spans with fewer support columns

The flyover is being constructed to ease traffic congestion on Dattapada Road and nearby areas of Borivali East
