According to Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC) of the Thane Municipal Corporation, the vehicle was being taken for a test drive when it suddenly caught fire
The car was being driven by an employee of automobile company. He was accompanied by two customers at the time of the incident
All three occupants managed to get out of the vehicle safely as soon as the fire started. No injuries were reported
Personnel from the disaster management cell reached the scene and launched a fire-fighting operation
