Heavy congestion on the stairs of the newly constructed bridge almost created a stampede-like situation, causing inconvenience for passengers at Kandivali station

However, a banner on the southern steps stated, "The staircase has been closed for foot-over bridge construction beginning Tuesday, May 20, 2025. We apologise for the inconvenience."

Although the situation at Kandivali station appeared scary, passengers somehow managed to get past the congested area
