In Delhi, the Shri Adhya Katyayani Shaktipith Mandir in Chhatarpur witnessed a large crowd of devotees participating in a vibrant Aarti ceremony on the first day of Navaratri.

The Shree Mata Bheemeshvari Devi Mandir in Jhajjar, Haryana, attracted a significant number of devotees who gathered for the Aarti to honour the goddess.

The Badi Devkali Devi Temple in Ayodhya saw large numbers of devotees celebrating Navaratri, offering prayers in a spiritual atmosphere.

A large crowd gathered at the Mata Vaishno Devi temple, chanting "Jai Mata Di" as devotees lined up to catch a glimpse of the revered deity.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami both extended their Navaratri wishes, emphasising peace, prosperity, and the significance of the divine feminine.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of West Bengal inaugurated the Durga Puja celebrations at Jodhpur Park, stressing the importance of unity and inclusivity during the festival.

Chief Minister Dhami highlighted the importance of Navaratri in worshipping and respecting the divine feminine, a key theme of the festival that symbolises women's strength.

Sharadiya Navaratri is marked by fasting, prayers, singing devotional songs, and traditional dances like Garba and Dandiya, creating a joyful atmosphere across the country.
