The project consists of a district general hospital, a women's and children's hospital, and a super-speciality hospital

Shinde instructed senior officials to accelerate every phase of the project while ensuring that no administrative delays are tolerated

During the meeting, it was pointed out that although the hospital building has been completed, operations cannot commence due to the lack of an electricity connection. Shinde directed that all work related to providing power connectivity to this essential healthcare facility be completed within the stipulated timeframe

He also instructed officials to ensure regular, high-quality maintenance and cleanliness of the hospital building, expedite the procurement of advanced medical equipment, and fast-track the recruitment process for the 1,078 new posts recently approved by the state government

The ambitious 900-bed healthcare complex will house a 500-bed District General Hospital, a 200-bed dedicated Women and Children''s Hospital, and a 200-bed Referral Hospital under one roof. It will include super speciality departments for the treatment of critical illnesses in cardiology, neurology, nephrology and oncology
