During the morning hours, parts of Mumbai recieved unseasonal rain, marking the second such spell in this month
Bandra witnessed a visible layer of smog on Tuesday, with air quality ranging from poor to unhealthy across several monitoring stations
Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a yellow nowcast warning for several districts of Maharashtra, forecasting light spells of rain over the next three hours
The warning, issued at 4 pm, covers Nashik, Ahilya Nagar, Pune, Satara and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. Separately, Dhule and Jalgaon districts are likely to witness light rain accompanied by the possibility of thunder and lightning in some areas
