The establishments around Azad Maidan have been instructed to remain closed due to the large number of VIPs visiting the area

Notices have also been pasted on the buildings around Azad Maidan, prohibiting locals from going on rooftops for security reasons

Two deputy chief ministers, NCP leader Ajit Pawar and Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde, are also likely be sworn in at the ceremony

Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar also acknowledged that the scheme and women's large-scale participation in the voting process may have played a role in Mahayuti's victory in the Maharashtra Assembly Election 2024

The scheme became so popular among women that Eknath Shinde, the previous CM, earned the title of 'Ladka Bhau (beloved brother)'
