Mumbai witnessed a massive gathering on Tuesday as devotees thronged the streets for the immersion procession of Andhericha Raja

Huge crowds joined the immersion procession, soaking in the festive spirit as one of Mumbai’s most iconic Ganesh idols made its way through the city

Devotees in Andheri thronged the streets for the immersion procession on Tuesday evening

The occasion also coincided with Angarki Sankashti Chaturthi, considered an important day for devotees of Lord Ganesha. Many devotees observed fasts and visited temples and Ganpati mandals to seek blessings

The immersion procession drew crowds of devotees from across Mumbai, with the celebrations marked by devotional chants and traditional festivities

Andhericha Raja is among Mumbai's well-known Ganpati idols and is particularly associated with the Azad Nagar Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal in Andheri

The atmosphere turned festive as devotees raised chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya” as Andhericha Raja proceeded towards immersion
