A massive fire broke out at a residential building in Mumbai’s Vile Parle (East) on Monday morning. As per the information received by the authorities, one person has been reported dead while another woman is injured (Pic/Special Arrangement)
According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s (BMC) Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) Control, the incident was reported on February 9, at 9:51 am (Pic/Shadab Khan)
The fire was classified as a Level-1 incident, indicating a minor fire, and further updates were shared by the authorities at 12:52 pm. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, and investigations are underway (Pic/Special arrangement)
As per the BMC, the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) deployed five fire engines, two jumbo tankers, two aerial water tower tenders, one hydraulic platform, one turntable ladder, one breathing apparatus van and an ambulance to the site (Pic/Special arrangement)
In the latest update received from BMC’s MFB at 1:44 pm, officials confirmed that the fire was completely extinguished at 12:54 pm
