IN PHOTOS: Monkeys take over Khar Gymkhana pool, surprise swimmers

Two monkeys have been repeatedly entering the swimming pool and roaming the premises of Khar Gymkhana in Mumbai, alarming visitors and prompting complaints to the Forest Department. Officials have received video footage of the monkeys jumping into the pool and plan to install cages to safely capture and relocate them to their natural habitat. (PICS/ SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT)


A monkey on Monday was seen sitting beside the swimming pool at Khar Gymkhana after entering the premises

Another monkey was seen standing on the diving board at Khar Gymkhana before reportedly jumping into the swimming pool

While they created havoc around the facility, one of the monkeys was roaming around the poolside area at Khar Gymkhana

Monkeys have been repeatedly entering the Khar Gymkhana premises and swimming pool over the past week

Following the fiasco, Maharashtra Forest Department has received video footage of the monkeys entering the pool and plans to safely capture them
