Amid forecasts of heavy rainfall and the possibility of flooding in parts of Maharashtra, Chief Minister (CM) Devendra Fadnavis on Monday appealed to citizens to remain vigilant, cooperate with the administration, and contact official helpline numbers in the event of any emergency. To facilitate a prompt response, the State Emergency Operations Centre has activated the toll-free helpline 1070. Citizens can also contact the state control room on 9321587143, 022-22027990, or 022-22794229 for emergency assistance
