Even as Mumbai reels under intense heat, the India Meteorological Department on Wednesday issued a yellow alert for Latur, Nanded, Hingoli, Beed, Parbhani, and Dharashiv, warning of thunderstorms, lightning, and light to moderate rainfall
The weather bureau has predicted maximum and minimum temperatures in Mumbai to hover around 32 and 22 degrees Celsius over the next 24 hours
On Wednesday, Mumbai's Colaba station, which is representative of the Island City, recorded a maximum temperature of 32.4 degrees Celsius while the Santacruz station recorded 31.1 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperatures stood at 22.6 degrees Celsius and 21.3 degrees Celsius, respectively
