Continuous heavy rainfall has severely affected rail operations in the Vasai-Virar belt, with waterlogging reported across key sections including Saphale, Kelve Road, Vasai Road, and Nallasopara stations

Suburban train services on Vasai Road and Virar stations have been temporarily suspended. Passengers are advised to anticipate delays of around 15–20 minutes in local train operations across the Vasai section

Multiple trains including the Azamgarh–BDTS, Surat–Virar, Ahmedabad–BDTS and Jodhpur–BDTS services have been short-terminated at intermediate stations such as Sanjan, Vapi, Valsad and Umargam Road. Several services have also been reversed or rescheduled

Suburban operations on the Borivali–Virar stretch have been partially suspended, with trains short-terminated at Virar due to severe waterlogging between stations

Key MEMU services, including Dahanu Road–Borivali and Borivali–Valsad, have also been cancelled or partially operated due to unsafe track conditions. This has impacted several outstation passengers.
