Mumbai was placed on high alert after a threatening email warned of bomb blasts across the city. Mumbai Police, GRP and BDDS teams conducted intensive security checks at CSMT, railway platforms and trains, using sniffer dog Sasha. Searches were also carried out near the BMC headquarters.
