The weather department on Monday has forecasted a maximum temperature of around 34 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 28 degrees Celsius, with humid conditions expected to continue

IMD earlier on Sunday had issued a yellow alert for rain and thunderstorms

Parts of Mumbai also received light showers on Sunday morning. However, the rainfall was not widespread enough to bring a significant drop in temperatures or humidity levels
