A thick blanket of smog engulfed Mumbai on Monday evening, with the overall air quality index (AQI) recorded at 119 in the 'moderate' category. Reduced visibility was reported across Worli, Prabhadevi, Bandra and Dharavi, raising health concerns despite almost all the areas recording moderate or good AQI level. Mumbai on Monday experienced partly cloudy skies with haze. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the Colaba station, which is representative of the city, recorded a minimum temperature of 21.4 degrees Celsius. The Santacruz station, which is indicative of the suburbs, recorded minimum temperature of 19.8 degrees Celsius
