In Photos: Mumbai wakes up to light rain as IMD predicts cloudy skies

Parts of Mumbai received light rainfall on Monday as IMD forecast a generally cloudy sky with light to moderate showers across the city and suburbs. As per IMD, Mumbai is expected to witness a cloudy sky with the possibility of light to moderate rain across the city and suburbs throughout the day

The maximum temperature is expected to remain around 29.9 degrees Celsius, while the minimum is likely to be 25.4 degrees Celsius

The eastern suburbs received the highest rainfall (65.77 mm) during the 24-hour period starting 8 am on Sunday, August 2. The western suburbs recorded 44.37 mm, while the island city received 19.56-mm rainfall during the same period

BMC has also released the tidal forecast. A high tide of 4.27 metres is expected at 2.43 pm, while another high tide of 3.84 metres is predicted at 3.16 am on Tuesday
