Rescue teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Mumbai Fire Brigade, Mumbai Police, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), and the 108 ambulance service rushed to the spot and launched an intensive search-and-rescue operation. Those trapped under the rubble were pulled out and shifted to nearby hospitals

According to doctors, five victims, one woman, three young girls and one young boy, were brought dead to Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Shatabdi Hospital in Govandi

Another young boy was declared brought dead at Rajawadi Hospital in Ghatkopar, taking the death toll to six

A young man who sustained injuries is undergoing treatment at Rajawadi Hospital, where doctors said his condition is stable

The cause of the collapse is yet to be officially determined, and further investigation into the incident is underway.
