Rescue teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Mumbai Fire Brigade, Mumbai Police, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), and the 108 ambulance service rushed to the spot and launched an intensive search-and-rescue operation. Those trapped under the rubble were pulled out and shifted to nearby hospitals
