Mulund recorded the highest rainfall at 160 mm, followed by Versova with 157 mm. Other areas that received over 100 mm of rainfall included Mankhurd (123 mm), Powai (122 mm), Bhandup (120 mm), Marol (108 mm) and Oshiwara (108 mm)

Compared with the city's suburbs, rainfall was relatively lower in South and Central Mumbai, with Matunga recording 53 mm, Dadar 45 mm, Malabar Hill 37 mm, and Mumbai Central 34 mm during the same period

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Mumbai is expected to witness a generally cloudy sky on Monday morning, with thunderstorms and moderate to heavy rain likely across the city and its suburbs

Meanwhile, the IMD said favourable conditions continue for the monsoon to advance further into parts of the North Arabian Sea, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand over the next two to three days

The IMD has forecast fairly widespread rainfall across districts, including Nagpur, Wardha, Chandrapur, and Gadchiroli between June 28 and July 1.
