The exercise was conducted in the presence of representatives from various political parties, officials said
Officials said that the first-level checking (FLC) of EVMs was completed on December 26 at the same location
After the completion of the process, mock polls were conducted on the machines in line with guidelines issued by the State Election Commission
It included functional testing, the mock poll procedure, methods to identify faulty machines, and steps for their replacement, officials said, adding they also outlined storage and security arrangements for EVMs in strong rooms
