The model, which now proudly stands at the depot, was built by the team at Mumbai Central to showcase how waste can be transformed into art

From discarded metal pieces to unused parts, every component of the model was recycled, sending a message about reduce, reuse, and recycle

Vineet Abhishek, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, said in a press release that the initiative highlights both the creative skills and the environmental commitment of the Mumbai Central team

"This project is a proud example of how we can turn waste into a legacy," he said

The effort supports the Government of India’s mission to make cleanliness a shared responsibility and inspires eco-friendly action in everyday work, an official statement said
