Shiv Sena (UBT) chief, along with his son and Worli legislator Aaditya, burnt copies of the Government Resolution that proposed teaching Hindi in state schools as the third language. The two leaders were joined by several Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) members as well as Maharashtra Congress chief Harshwardhan Sapkal (PICS/ASHISH RAJE)

Apart from Shiv Sena (UBT), the state's proposal has been strongly opposed by Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar), and the Congress, too. On Sunday, state Congress chief Harshwardhan Sapkal joined the Shiv Sena (UBT) in burning the copies of the GR
