On Tuesday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) had issued an orange alert for Mumbai with temperatures rising to 40 degC
In a weather bulletin, the IMD stated that Mumbai was likely to witness mainly clear sky in the city and its suburbs. Hot and humid conditions were very likely to prevail in the suburbs on March 11
According to the Central Pollution Control Board's (CPCB) Sameer app, Mumbai’s Air Quality Index (AQI) was on Thursday recorded 'Satisfactory' at 10:05 pm and stood at 111
