The Central Railway has modified two WDS-6 class of diesel engines named #MeghVeer which can work even when water is 12 inches above track level. These two engines will be helpful in pulling out #localtrains stranded on the track during heavy flooding. Also, report on last month’s flooding, which left many trains stranded, recommends solutions to prevent waterlogging at #Sion, #Kurla, and #Chunabhatti stations
