Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Devendra Fadnavis is set to become Maharashtra's next Chief Minister. His appointment was finalized during a meeting of the BJP's core committee on Wednesday, just before the Maharashtra legislature party meeting. The core committee meeting was attended by Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, and Fadnavis himself. After the announcement, celebrations took place outside Fadnavis' residence in Nagpur. Supporters gathered outside Fadnavis' residence at Nagpur to express their joy and excitement over the news of Fadnavis assuming the role of Chief Minister once again. They were seen celebrating and dancing with joy.
