'AAP ke saath': BJP also sends volunteers to Delhi

Borrowing a leaf from AAP’s poll strategy book after the party’s volunteers made their presence felt in Delhi, BJP also gets people to work for it before the elections

It seems the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is borrowing a leaf from the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) poll strategy book. After AAP volunteers have made their presence felt in Delhi in the run-up to the assembly polls, the BJP is getting volunteers who, they feel, could do the same for it. Sources in the BJP claim that members have asked the city unit to send as many volunteers as it can to Delhi to help the party there. AAP volunteers from across the country have reached Delhi and the crowd at their rallies is worrying the BJP.

Many party workers are leaving Mumbai to go to Delhi to support the BJP for the upcoming assembly elections. Confirming the same, Niranjan Shetty, chief spokesperson of the BJP said, “Yes, people from the BJP are going to Delhi, but we do go to neighbouring states to help our local unit during elections.”
