Ahmed has extensively shot the ship breaking yards at Baro Aulia, in Chittagong district, Bangladesh, and word is that Samdani was thrilled to learn that Ahmed had re-visited the site a few weeks before the opening to gain fresh perspective. Gallerist Sree Goswami had to say that after several Western lenses had shot Bangladesh's ship breaking yards, it was good to showcase a voice from within.

Author Katie Bagli is eager to change prejudices about animals with her latest title, The Less Liked Lovables. Through this children's book (we think it might be equally enlightening for adults), the author hopes to share with readers that all creatures are lovable in their own way and play a role in the workings of nature.
