Fifteen city-based people have come forward to take up the responsibility of sponsoring the cost of education and living expenses of as many needy and specially-abled children.

A social organisation named Hetu carried out an adoption programme yesterday in suburban Malad, where the 15 people came forward and took up the responsibility of these poor children, including girls. Rikhabh Jain, the mentor of this organisation, said it was the second consecutive year of its initiative.
