Turn to the movies for inspiration. Young lads came of age in Rang De Basanti when they protested the use of a faulty MiG-21 aircraft that killed their friend. Real life too has no dearth of examples. Practically the entire city gathered to declare the end of our tolerance for terrorism and the inaction by authorities after the 26/11 terror attacks. The result? The Chief Minister was forced to step down. <br /><br />The adrenaline pumping through you while you shout slogans, wave banners or don a T-shirt feels great. A word of caution, though: A protest is very different from vandalism.<br /><br />Protest before you hit 30, because who knows, the 'chalta hai attitude' might seep in post 30, or work, family and life might take presidency over raising a voice against domestic violence and corruption. Sending pink chaddis or even a dishcloth might embarrass you. </p>
