When the going gets tough, the tough get going. Vignesh G, Sudarshan Shetty and Vaibhav Mane, HSC students, are classic examples of the old adage.u00a0Despite undergoing dialysis, thrice a week, Vignesh G, a student of Mithibai College scored 76.17 per cent. For Sudarshan Shetty, who had met with an accident on the very first day of his exam and wrote his paper in the ambulance, 79.33 per cent is the testament of his determination. While Vikas Mane, whose house was reduced to rubble during a demolition drive on March 2, managed a first class.u00a0These were some of the cases that came to the fore, as the HSC results were declared yesterday afternoon.

Fr. Noel Pinto, assistant director of Sneha Sadan in Andheri, where Sudarshan Shetty had been residing before he was recently reunited with his family, is all praises for the young lad.
