Dikshit staying fit for polls

Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit has claimed that the Congress will all the seven parliamentary seats from the national capital.

"We have the best candidates and I am confident that based upon their performance the candidates will provide the party a landslide victory in the polls," she said.



When asked about the party high command's extraordinary confidence in her after she clinched a third straight term in the recently-concluded assembly elections, Dikshit said she believed that it was good governance that did the trick for her.

Dikshit made these remarks while attending a get together of party candidates for the Lok Sabha elections in New Delhi. A new party campaign was also launched on the occasion.

Dikshit ate frugally at the do. Probably she does not want to take any chances in the poll season with her health. It pays to keep fit after all.
