A major fire broke out at a shop in Majnoo Ka Teela area of north Delhi late on Wednesday night.
According to the fire department the incident took place at around 1:30 am in the area.

Police personnel of Civil Lines were also looking into the matter.

"The fire broke out at a shop. When neighbours noticed a thick cloud of smoke emanating from the shop, they informed the fire department. We sent seven fire tenders to the spot as soon we got a call in this regard.

It took us four hours to douse the fire. It was around 3am when the blaze was put out," said a fire official.
The official said that the cause of the fire is not yet known and no casualties have been reported.
