Marathon organisers asked to pay Rs 20 Lakh as deposit

The deposit is to compensate for any damage or littering at the Bandra-Worli Sea Link during the Mumbai Marathon tomorrow

For the first time, the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has taken a deposit of Rs 20 lakh from the organisers of the Mumbai Marathon. The Bandra-Worli Sea Link (BWSL) is a part of the track for the marathon participants. The compensation will be deducted from the deposit in case there is some damage or littering on the sea link.
