It is none other than man in the news Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy. The photo was taken way back in 1980s.
In an interview, Swamy had said that he and Rajiv Gandhi were 'very, very close friends', 'extremely close friends' but he has no connection with the current Gandhi family.
He had even taken a jibe over the Tamil Nadu government's letter to the Centre demanding release of former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi killers, saying Tamil Nadu to the Centre is a venture of 'anti-nationalism', thus concluding it to be a complete disgrace to the people of India, and people of Tamil Nadu particularly.
