Wadia hospital initiates probe against nurse who warned of child abduction

Mumbai's Nowrosjee Wadia Maternity hospital has reportedly initiated an internal inquiry against sister Priscilla as a reaction to the revelation of her letter to the matron warning of the possibility of a child being abducted from the premise.

While sources in the hospital confirmed the inquiry, members of the management dismissed such claims. Sources also alleged that theu00a0management has claimed that they will find the culprit who released the letter to the media and take strict action against that person.

MiD DAY had on Tuesday reported about a complaint filed by sister Priscilla, in-charge of Ward-9 from where a baby was kidnapped last
week. In her letter dated October 11, the sister had warned the hospital matron about lack of adequate staff and possibility of a baby
getting kidnapped due to overcrowding. The hospital management though ignored the warning following which a baby was stolen from the same ward on October 24.
