Jind: Former Haryana Chief Minister and Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda today alleged that the BJP government in the state is working to financially weaken farmers in contrast with the former Congress government which worked towards improving their situation.

Speaking to journalists at Chhatar village on Sunday Hooda alleged the sugarcane farmers in the state have sent their crops to the mills but have not yet recieved a payment for it.
