BJP MLA Y Sampangi, who was trapped by Lokayukta while accepting bribe, has been granted bail by a special court on Tuesday. 
In his absence, his lawyer H S Chandramouli appeared before the court 
Meanwhile, Sampagni continues to cool his heels at NIMHANS. 
 Sources said his health is stable and he may undergo MRI brain scan on Tuesday.

Ever since he was trapped, he has been hopping from hospital to hospital. Initially he was admitted to the Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology claiming he was suffering from cardiac problems. Then he was shifted to NIMHANS on Saturday.
