Three service stations of Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) and a Hindustan Petroleum pump, located near Tihar Jail, have suffered losses to the tune of Rs 50 lakh, due to the movement. The attendants and officials, however, did not mind as it was for a just cause.

Delhi Police blocked the roads heading towards Tihar Jail after Anna supporters started assembling there since Tuesday evening. By Wednesday morning, around 7,000 people had gathered around the jail. Delhi Police then stopped all vehicles to pass through. As a result, the three IGL service stations-Janakpuri D Block, Hari Nagar and Jail Road-did not entertain a single customer.u00a0u00a0

Ajay Kumar Singh, manager of Janakpuri, D Block IGL service station, located next to Director General Office of Tihar Jail, said not a single customer visited their station on Wednesday. "Our daily sales are more than 35,000kg CNG. The staff members are sitting idle at the office," said Singh.
