After a shivering Sunday, the Meteorological Department has predicted colder days ahead. The weatherman says temperatures may dip further and the city is likely to receive more rain in the next two days.

Cloudy weekend
A thick fog covered Delhi over the weekend, affecting air traffic, rail traffic and motor vehicle movement in the capital and its surrounding areas. However, on Sunday, the fog cleared as the day progressed and Met officials said visibility had improved from 600 metres at 5.30 am to 1,000 metres at 9 pm. Delhi recorded 1 mm of rain, the first in this season. Met Department officials said there was no rain during the same period last year.
