Jammu: A constable was stabbed allegedly by some Sikh youth protesters who also fled away with his AK-47 rifle in Jammu, police said today.
The constable, identified as Joginder Pal of Mirpur in Kathua district and posted as Personal Security Officer with DSP (Jammu East) Mohammad Rafiq, was stabbed late last night by some miscreants from among the group of sikh youths staging a protest on Jammu-Pathankote Highway in Digiana area, a police officer said.
