When Madiwala police inspector G M Kantraju found a dead body with multiple stab injuries he didn't find it necessary to register a case of murder. Instead he sold the body to St. John's medical college.

When the son of the deceased came to know about the deal he filed a complaint with the senior police officers. An enquiry was initiated against Kanth Raju and he was kept under suspension.u00a0

Later Kanthraju's suspension was revoked and was transferred to the State Intelligence Department.

Meanwhile a committee was constituted by the government to conduct an inquiry which confirmed Kanth Raju guilty of charges leveled against him. The committee recommended for his dismissal.
