<p>According to the <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/news/world-news/article/japan-earthquake-of-magnitude-6-0-hits-hokkaido-23303029" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">National Center for Seismology</a> (NCS), the jolt took place at 3:49 am on Thursday morning.</p>
